Description:

This 3-day course focuses on the comprehension of engineering activities for common production facility machinery. Gain practical knowledge on how to fit reliability, operability, and maintainability into a right-sized solution on facility strategic improvements and run-and-maintain activities. Learn ways to troubleshoot common machinery issues and strengthen proactive activities. This course focuses on process machinery such as centrifugal compressors, reciprocating compressors, and centrifugal pumps.

Who Should Attend:
This course is for anyone who wants to learn pragmatic reliability engineering techniques for process machinery. These persons are often early career engineers, machinery reliability specialists, project engineers, and area engineers.
Instructor:
Charles ‘Chuck’ Lickteig, PE is a highly experienced Senior Machinery Engineer with over 30 years of expertise in the oil and gas industry. Specializing in front end engineering design, detail engineering, and the full spectrum of rotating equipment operations, he has been a key contributor to Shell in various leadership roles. Mr. Lickteig is well-versed in industry standards, having been a taskforce member of multiple API codes. His extensive engineering design background encompasses pumps, compressors, turbines, and engines, and he has actively participated in commissioning and troubleshooting efforts. As a leader, he has managed rotating equipment networks, ensuring safety and reliability, and has played a pivotal role in developing maintenance strategies. Mr. Lickteig holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kansas and is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Louisiana.

Cancellation Policy:
Full refunds or course transfers are available 4 weeks prior to the class start date. Cancellations 2-4 weeks out are eligible for course transfers or a refund of 60% of the registration fee.
